Ralph A. Mortensen, Ph.D.
Ralph brings more than thirty years’ experience with strategic leadership, organizational and talent issues to Pathway Human Capital Advisors. He has an extensive background in both executive talent and organizational effectiveness assessment and development, including C-level officer selection and coaching, merger integration, organizational audits and top talent reviews.
Prior to joining forces with Pathway, Ralph was a senior consultant to more than 80 diverse clients with YSC Ltd., Aon Consulting and RHR International. His work has taken him across the US and Canada, and to the Caribbean, Europe and Australia. He began his career in various human resources roles in the banking and utility industries. He also has taught business and psychology courses at University of Detroit Mercy, Wayne State University, Oakland University, and Rochester College.
Ralph’s doctorate is in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University. He has a M.A. degree from Central Michigan University and a BA. from Adrian College, both in psychology. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Ohio. He is President-Elect of the Michigan Association of Industrial-Organizational Psychologists as well as a member of the Human Resources Association of Greater Detroit, and, nationally, the Societies for Industrial-Organizational and Consulting Psychology.
